Summer is around the corner and we are seriously looking forward to loads of sunshine and happiness associated with it. This makes it imperative to remind ourselves of the importance of drinking water. Almost everybody knows that drinking water is good, but not everybody can give specific details on all the health benefits of drinking water.

I figure that is the reason life on mars would not be particularly exciting at the moment, because the red planet is dry and barren with most of its water locked in polar ice-caps.
Water is a constituent of the lubricant in our joint, it regulates our body temperature through sweating and respiration and helps to flush waste.
There is need to understand that we loose water through sweating, going to the bathroom and even exhaling. Hence the need to drink water to avoid dehydration.
Ideally, people should drink nothing less than 2 Liters of water a day. However an easier way to remember how much water to drink per day is by the 8 x 8 rule. Drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day. Since one ounce is approximately equal to 30 ml, so eight 8-ounce glasses of water will be about 1,920ml. You can do the mathematics yourself. Roughly 2 Liters of water per day is okay.
